Abu Dhabi Landmarks

Emirates Palace
Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi, Emirates Palace is one of the capital’s most iconic landmarks. Known for its distinctive Arabesque architecture and exceptional five-star service. The Iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi, The first universal museum in the Arab world, embodying the spirit of cultural openness and exchange. Located in the heart of the Saadiyat Cultural District on Saadiyat Island, this prestigious institution presents a diverse collection of artworks that span from ancient to contemporary times, reflecting historical, cultural, and sociological significance. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the world and stands as a symbol of the harmonious blend between Islam and other global cultures. The vision of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founder of the UAE, was to create a mosque that integrates architectural styles from various Muslim civilizations, celebrating cultural diversity and fostering a welcoming, inspirational space. Designed by British, Italian, and Emirati architects, the mosque features design elements drawn from Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, Egypt, and other Islamic regions. Directions can be found here.

Qasr Al Hosn
Throughout history, Qasr Al Hosn has played a central role in Abu Dhabi, serving as the residence of the ruling family, the seat of government, and the home of the National Consultative Council established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founder of the UAE. Abu Dhabi’s Corniche
Abu Dhabi’s Corniche stretches over eight kilometers of manicured waterfront that includes children’s play areas, separate cycle and pedestrian pathways, cafés and restaurants, and a lifeguarded beach. Directions can be found here.

UAE Climate in January

January in the UAE offers pleasant and mild weather, making it one of the best times to visit the country. Average temperatures typically range from 15°C (59°F) in the early mornings and evenings to around 25°C (77°F) during the day. While it is the middle of winter, you can expect clear skies and sunshine, with occasional cooler breezes. Rainfall is minimal, but occasional light showers may occur. The comfortable temperatures make it an ideal time for outdoor activities, sightseeing, and enjoying the beautiful beaches.

If you are involved in a traffic accident, contact the police right away. For minor incidents, move your vehicle to the side of the road to avoid obstructing traffic, as fines may apply. Please note that an official police report is required to file an insurance claim.
